Chevy Chase Market Delivers Groceries Via Robot

Robot Shoppers Prove Their Use During Coronavirus Pandemic

A market in Chevy Chase is doing their best to serve their purpose to the community... but from a distance of course!

The Broad Branch Market is delivering groceries to patrons that live within a mile of the store via 45 pound robots that kind of look like futuristic remote-controlled cars...and for free! Broad Brand Market is doing this on behalf of being a beta test with the company Starship.

One customer told WJLA that she received her groceries in under a half hour.

Their store-front is now closed to the public and they are only fulfilling orders via pick-up or delivery. Right now you can only order via email, but a system through the Starship app is coming soon! Click here for more details.
