A Tornado Destroyed This House But Left A Pound Cake Untouched

A tornado in Mississippi destroyed homes and claimed lives but one thing that it left unscathed was "Mama's pound cake."

Facebook user Jerel Wade shared a series of photos of his parents' house that took severe damage from the storm, but one thing remained in tact: a pound cake on the kitchen counter.

According to News Channel 8 "The storms claimed lives in at least six states, and the National Weather Service said preliminary assessments found evidence that at least 27 twisters struck the region. The strongest twister was an EF-4 tornado that devastated southeastern Mississippi with winds as fast as 170 mph (273 kph)."
