Plane Delivering Medical Supplies Creates Heart With Flight Path

Celebratory Flight 'Iceland By Air' Marks The Arrival Of Icelandair's New Boeing 737 MAX 8 Plane

With the current situation going on, we're trying to spread a little more love around...and one pilot literally took that to the skies!

A Boeing 767 plane from airline IcelandAir was bringing back a reported 18 tons of medical supplies from China and instead of flying directly across the country, the pilot chose to fly in the shape of a heart so that the radar would pick up it's feel-good path.

The Reyjkavik Grapevine reported that a spokesperson from IcelandAir confirmed that the formation was intentional to honor Iceland's healthcare workers.

As of Monday, April 20, Iceland has had 1,773 cases of COVID-19 and just 10 deaths.
